Why SEAMLESS Solutions?

For years, the amount of digitally readable information is continuously growing at ever bigger rates. It is hard to imagine an end of this, hence users intending to archive, manage, search, select, and compose such knowledge assets - like software modules, documents, or factual information – have to meet huge challenges. Very frequently, appropriate tools for these tasks are not included in the functionality of the standard software products at hand, or the use of these tool is way too complex.

We develop intelligent solutions for the compact storage of knowledge assets and their efficient automatic synthesis in new contexts of usage. SEAMLESS solutions can smoothly be integrated into existing environments.

The core components of the spiraling SEAMLESS process of knowledge structuring are the steps of Specification, Exploration, Abstraction, and Modification. The spiral represents a continuous improvement.

The features of the SEAMLESS Methods are Logics, Efficiency, Structure, and Synthesis. We employ graphs as a universal framework to represent knowledge. As a technological basis for mapping, storage, and exchange of models serve XML and relational databases.

Based on this expertise we offer – in cooperation with international partners – a range of services. In addition, the technological plaform is improved conceptually in a research-oriented way on a continuous basis. This yields, for instance, publications and improved versions of the SEAMLESS framework.

Sample use case: Sythesis of XML documents

The SEAMLESS system generates compact pseudo-code for given formal requirements. The document synthesis component automatically infers XML documents composed of automatically generated diagrams, texts, formulae, and references to fragments of the knowledge base. These XML documents can be transformed into various target formats, eg. PDF. The generated documents are written in a textbook style.
